Our partner PassageMaker (PM) can be of support for those clients that need services beyond AQF's core offerings, such as Vendor Coordination, Intellectual Property (IP) Protection and Final Assembly.
PM is a US owned and operated company based in China. PM specializes in helping clients find suppliers and manage their China supply chain, with a special focus on clients who are concerned about protecting intellectual property (IP) and ensuring the quality is to specification.
PM's assembly center serves as both a “black box” to protect IP and a quality gate. Simply put, components and semi-finished goods are delivered to their facility from your approved sub suppliers and then final assembly/packaging takes place at PassageMaker. As the sub suppliers don't see the finished product, their ability to steal ideas and designs is limited. While final assembly is taking place under the PM roof they can also inspect the goods to confirm quality.
In turn, AQF is PM's exclusive partner for product inspections and audits that are needed at the sub supplier level.

The International Company Profile (ICP) is Globis' exclusive report created for their contract with the US Dept. of Commerce to provide them with due diligence on Chinese companies. It includes all the registration information, ownership, financial, litigation, credit recommendation, trademarks/patents, export license number/details (if any), interview with the bank, the company, etc., plus info on their reputation and references - from their vendors & clients in China. In the major cities we provide a site visit generally for no additional fee in the ICP report. The price for the ICP under normal delivery of 11 business days is $435.
The Business Credit Report covers almost all the same info as the ICP, but does not go into as much detail on the reputation and references of the company, which is particularly relevant for distributor searches. The price is $230 for the BCR under the normal delivery time of 9 business days.
Additional services include in-depth market research, partner search, competitive intelligence, and providing supplier lists of foreign firms & individuals, again with a China focus.
