20. A Fresh Look at Chinese Factory Conditions

On one end of the spectrum, Western media often portrays Chinese factories as dirty and poorly-kept facilities where underage workers earn low wages working long hours under unsafe conditions. On the other end, we often hear about clean, uniform factories where iPhones and other high-tech products are manufactured.
