The AQF Technical Department is dedicated to performing empirical product testing and the development of comprehensive quality control checklists.

Either before manufacturing a newly designed product, or when stubborn quality issues persist uncorrected by the factory, AQF recommends thorough product testing. AQF regularly performs product testing for cookware, medical devices, and consumer electronics in-house.

Third-Party Testing

For products that require testing that cannot be performed in-house, AQF coordinates with highly respected third-party testing laboratories. Such coordination can prove to be a huge value adding service, especially in cases where multiple labs must be contracted to perform different tests on a product.

QC Checklists

QC Checklists are often the core of any effective quality control program. The checklist is important in two distinct ways:
 
First, the checklist is of course used by AQF auditors to thoroughly check every aspect of a client’s products during inspection services.
 
Second, the checklist also acts as a central resource that documents the specific quality standards that the client expects, and the factory will be evaluated on. This ensures that all parties are aware of, and have acknowledged the product specifications and requirements.
