Established in 2011, G7 is a top-selling American manufacturer of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The companies wide array of products includes track lighting, commercial lighting, outdoor solar LED lights and more.

Realizing a Concept

G7 founder and engineer Gregory Green tailored the company to fit one unique idea: “bring together LED concepts and components from around the globe and adapt them for use by a discerning consumer base in the United States.” The success of realizing this concept pushed the company to grow and, within their first year, G7 saw three of their LED bulbs reach Amazon’s Top Ten Best Seller’s list. It was as G7 was becoming a major up-and-coming player in America’s fierce LED market that they decided to enlist the help of InTouch quality control experts to see them through.

G7’s commitment to a quality product shines through to their service where they insist that their customers have easy access to expert support staff, not just “someone whose technical knowledge ends with which aisle the product is on.” That’s why they called on InTouch experts, who have key expertise in LEDs and other lighting, to conduct a detailed supplier review of their factory to be sure they were working with a reputable supplier. InTouch auditors visited the factory and assessed it based on a number of key criteria including manufacturing capacity, engineering & design capability and others.

 

InTouch Verifies Suppliers and Products

Following a review of their supplier, G7 utilized InTouch’s product inspection services. InTouch sent inspectors that specialize in LED lighting and similar products to carry out a pre-production inspection of G7’s shipment. Inside the factory, InTouch verified the quality of materials used in production such as diodes and soldering. In addition, InTouch conducted numerous tests to be sure that lights produced met safety, functionality and international certification standards set by G7.

G7 relies on InTouch as their third-party quality inspection partner to ensure that they are able to continue manufacturing top-selling LED products.
