Founded in 1997, MMI Textiles, Inc. provides custom and commodity textile fabrics and components. MMI offers woven fabrics, hooks, loops, webbings, tapes, vinyl, labels, cords, and elastics. The company’s continued annual growth has made it a leader in the textile marketplace.

InTouch acts on behalf of MMI Textiles to implement its testing requirements, conducting fiber analysis and checking breaking strength, weight, fiber content, and thread density. InTouch saves MMI thousands of dollars per year by identifying issues early on in production and before shipments arrive in the MMI warehouse. We provide expert quality assurance support to MMI at the factory level, where we conduct an extensive supplier review of each new factory prior to MMI placing an order. InTouch assists MMI throughout manufacturing as well, by providing both during production and final inspections of their textiles.

 

 
InTouch uses a fabric inspection machine to check thousands of yards of fabric, marking any defects along the way for easy identification later on down the supply chain. InTouch performs strength tests, crocking tests and appearance and texture checks of the products to ensure the textiles are held to the MMI standard of quality. In these ways, InTouch has provided the added security and peace of mind MMI needs to keep delivering quality fabrics to their customers and blossoming as a competitive textile provider and family business.
